"Fly Eagles Fly"

 

Okay, who sang that instead of just reading it?  I mean, can you really just read that phrase?  I don't think so!

For any of y'all not in the know, our Eagles are Super Bowl bound!!  WOOHOO!

 

And that makes Sunday February 9th all the more exciting here at TSS.

As you may be aware, we'll be hosting our annual Super Bowl Sale on Sunday Feb 9th.  This is always such a fun event & we look forward to it each year!  But this year, we're obviously even more pumped! 

So first, let's get the details out of the way.

 

WHAT: Super Bowl Sunday Sale

WHEN: February 9th, 11am~2pm at the shop

February 9th, all day long on line

FUN: Normally, everything would be 20% off.

But this year (!) there is so much more to celebrate!  So, if you come in the shop wearing Eagles sportswear (or, Eagles green attire) you will receive 25% off.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

If you know the jersey number of our celebrated Eagles running back for 2025, your discount will be equal to his jersey number!  The picture above is him hurdling an opposing player...BACKWARDS!  Just one of his many amazing plays this season ~ and I'd like to take this time to thank the New York Giants ffront office for being possibly the dumbest front office in the NFL & being so eager to dump this guy!  He was happy to come back to PA & we were the lucky ones to watch him soar!

So, do a little research ~ you knew I wasn't gonna make this TOO easy ~ and when you come in, if you can tell us his jersey number, the higher discount is yours!

 

ALSO!  If you are ordering online, well then we can't really tell if you're appropriately attired now can we?  So you're gonna have to do a little work too.  You have a couple options.

1. Tell us how Eagles fans say hello & goodbye (2 words).

2. Tell us the phrase they're using for their post season tagline (2 words).

3. Tell us the first 3 words of the Eagles fight song.

*Any of these 3 things will automatically earn you 25% off your purchase*

 

Now, if instead, you tell us our running back's jersey number, you'll get THAT percentage off! 

 

So get to work ~ make your list of goodies you must have, find the information you need for that extra discount, and join us ~ one way or another ~ on Sunday February 9th!

 

 

If you're in the shop on Sunday, you WILL NOT see me in Eagles sportswear.  WHAT??  Listen.  I have not worn any of my gear during the playoffs.  And after last week's victory, I consulted a good friend & stitcher & fellow Eagles fan as to whether to risk it.  The answer: NO!!  Do not mess with the juju!!  So I will be in Eagles green, but not Eagles sportswear!  You really don't wanna mess these things up!

You say we're crazy?  Well, yes!  Yes we are!  And if that's what we have to do to help our team win, well, we're up for it.

 

I will tell you, it is never ever dull being a sports fan in Philly.  I listen to the sports radio station as I come & go from work.  It is HILARIOUS!  And occasionally nauseating.  But it is not dull!  I gotta believe that, maybe with the exception of Chicago, this is the only place where we are CONVINCED that things are gonna go badly.  I mean, seriously.  Our coach is in his 4th season, he's now taken the team to the Super Bowl twice, and as recently as midseason there was a large contingent of the fanbase calling for his head!!  In fact, there is a faction that is still saying, "If they don't win the Super Bowl, he's got to go!"  The guy has one of the highest winning percentages EVER, but hey...it's Philly.  Same for our quarterback. 

Now, if all goes as planned & we are watching a parade right before Valentines Day, they'll never buy another drink in this town as long as they live.  Aaaahhhh....Philly.
