It's zAPPY DOT Wacky Wednesday!

 

Yep, I know you're thinking, "oh no, she's at it again...".  Yes, in fact I am!  I am slowly getting back into a rhythm, Ruthie is settling into her chemo routine (so far, so good), and I'm cautiously optimistic about getting back on track.

This week's Wacky Wednesday has a 2-fold purpose: #1 ~ we're getting back in the swing; & #2 ~ I have an order to put in to Zappy Dots ASAP, but there are a TON of new Dots that came out at Nashville & I FINALLY got them all posted!

 

So I decided to do a Wacky introduction & all y'all could order any of the new ones (or NOT new ones) that catch your eye!

 

And as long as you order on Wednesday, all the Wacky Zappy Dot goodies are 20% off! 

 

I will tell you that they take around 7-10 days to come in, so we won't be shipping orders (or calling you for pick up) for about 2 weeks.  Hmmmm, just in time for a Mother's Day treat???

 

Here are the new things coming our way ~

 

They just exploded at Nashville!!  In fact, they had SO MANY new things that there was no way for me to get them all posted until now! 

We are so in love with these "dots" and there are so many that are adapted from some of our favorite cross stitch designs, that it's impossible to pick a favorite.  Okay, I do have a favorite, but you'll have to see if you can pick it out.  Anyway, below are all the new creations to choose from!  Many of you are still a bit confused about the difference between 2 things:

* Needle Nanny

* Zappy Dot Magnet

So I'll try & explain it a little bit (I've looked for pictures & taken pictures & they just don't convey the story).

First, what is the same about them: they are both 1" diameter & any design you see is available as EITHER a Needle Nanny or a Dot.

 

 

Now, how are they different:

Needle Nanny ~ A Needle Nanny  is a 1" diameter magnet that has a pair of Rare Earth magnets.  How do you use this as a stitcher?  Well, if you stitch using a QSnap or a hoop, you can put your Needle Nanny on your piece, the pretty part on top of your stitching, the regular magnet underneath. Then, when you are changing floss, you can just set your needle right on top of it so you don't lose track of it.  These magnets are strong enough to hold your scissors as well!

But what if you stitch in hand, like me?  No worries!  You can use that Needle Nanny on the sleeve of your shirt, or up on your chest, and rest your needle &/or scissors there.  In fact, these are so darn pretty you can wear them as jewelry!  The great part is, it looks like a pin, but you don't have to make any holes in your shirt or sweater!  Please note: Rare Earth magnets are very strong & should not be worn by people with pacemakers (and if you have a pacemaker you probably already know this!).

 

   

 

Zappy Magnet Dot ~ this is just 1 magnet, but oh so versatile!  Do you use a magnetic board to hold your chart?  Put your Dot on the board & "hang" your scissors from it, lay your needle on it, whatever you can think of.  BUT WAIT!  THERE'S MORE!  The gals at Zappy have also created "bases" for these magnets.  You can choose from a necklace with a lovely silver snake chain or a necklace with a gorgeous organza ribbon to complement your Dot, a bracelet cuff, a scissor fob or their newest release, a zinger!  For each of these bases, there is an indentation where your dot sits.  Now, just like the Needle Nanny, this magnet is strong enough to hold your needles AND your scissors.

So here are the newest designs ~ choose from Needle Nanny or Dot, and if you want a base for your dot, remember to let us know what color!  I've changed up the order options because doing 2 different items for each of the 150 new designs....yeesh!  Not happening.  So when you see it, the first option is for the Needle Nanny. It can stand on its own.  You don't need to select anything else to use it.  The next option is the single dot ~ now, obviously, you can use the dot magnet on its own on your magnetic board (or even on your fridge!).  But if you want a base for it, the bases are listed following the single dot.  IF YOU CHOOSE a fob, necklace, bracelet or a zinger, please go to the color choice drop down & let us know what you would like.  If this becomes amazingly confusing (I get it, believe me.  I'm trying to find an easier way...), you can always email us & tell us precisely what you'd like.  And if we're confused (& we often are!), we'll email you to confirm (right Pam K ??).  We totally love these, but we're aware that unless you can see what we're doing with them (we're working on photos/videos...in or spare time ~ HA!!), you may not get it.  Just ask!
