It's time for the Harvest Market Hop! This year, the vast majority of all the fun new goodies are Autumn & Halloween, so grab a sweater & some cider & get ready to stitch thru the falling leaves.
We're gonna wander thru the new goodies just as if we were at a real Market ~ ie, designer by designer. We've put up as much information as the designers have given us, but if you find something that doesn't have fabric or fibers or buttons listed (& you NEED them!), just put a note in the comment section & we'll put the things you need together with your order!

Stephanie never fails to delight us with not only her patterns, but with her fabulous, hand-worked wooden finishing pieces. This time around, she has created a "pipe box" that can sit on a shelf or can hang on the wall. Awesome!

Hopes & Dreams Mini Sampler - I can't decide what I love more: the sampler (with that darling HOUSE!) or the pipe box! Love it!
Sweet Fragrance - another wonderful design (plus a needlebook design) & I love the color of this box!

Fall Flowers - Love this basket of flowers & she's finished it in her sewing clamp that clamps onto your side table (love the drawer to safekeep your scissors & other little bits & pieces).
Le Cygnet Noir - Or, in English, the Black Swan. Black swans in nature are just stunning. But as any of my fellow ballerinas know, Odile is not a nice swan (even though her solo is one of the most coveted roles!). Good thing this guy looks like he's pretty sweet!

Marie's designs are so amazingly detailed that when they are finished, they are stunning works of art! Couple that with her penchant for stitching on small fabric (or over 1 thread), and you get a gorgeous result. Now, you don't HAVE to stitch them tiny (come on over to my side, where we like LARGE stitching!) ~ remember, the cross stitch police won't care!

Carrots for Ewe - Love this sweet little pincushion! Isn't that lambie sweet? I think her babies are probably a little jealous that she's left them on the other side of the fence. This is finished in a tart tin.
Count Your Blessings Stitch by Stitch - This couldn't be a better design for a stitcher! And I love that she designed it to fit in the Lone Elm Sewing Clamp ~ perfect design for it.

Niky always brings us sweet designs that you really can't wait to thread a needle & start on. We've been seeing snippets of these for a bit & we're even more excited now that we have the full pictures!

Country Village - Isn't this a dear little village? There's my barn in the background...
Halloween Sheep - I love all the different faces on the pumpkins! Now, do you think that sheep realizes the kitty is hitching a ride?
Merry Sampler - I think this is my favorite of this group this time! I love the border on this.

Squirrel Sewing Set - This little set of smalls is perfect for your Autumn stitching basket.
Pumpkin Basket - I love the quilt in the center! What a cute little hanging. The little things she's added ~ from the buttons to the fabric heart ~ make it all the more endearing.

Maria Theresa's designs are beautiful and delicate! And them sometimes they're chunky & fun! We love oth iterations.

My Book Sewing Box - Okay!! Now, as you know, I want ANYTHING called "book"! And the finishing on this is fantastic ~ it really looks like a book! If you would just like the chart, click on the left hand picture; if you would like the chartpak (that includes the finishing fabric, scissors & pins), click on the right hand picture! Finishing directions are included.

Santa Claus is Coming... - This pillow is stitched on BIG linen (18ct over 2), using Jumbuk wool & silk threads from Dinky Dyes. She also provides DMC conversions. Love this!

Marty has such fun designs! And she & sister Kathy have collaborated to create a new visit to Hawk Run Hollow ~ this time we're Trick or Treating!

Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow - This is SO, SO FUN!!!!! I can't even decide which one I like best!! Super spooky!

Bees in Her Bonnet - Oh my gosh, what fun!!! Is the hat a bee skep? Or a beekeeper's hat? Who cares? It's adorable!
Grey-Eyed Angel punchneedle - Love this ornament! What a great finish for your punchneedle designs.

Kathy's newest designs are some of our favorites. We always know we'll be delighted by her designs & she never disappoints!

Crowned Owls - I love the top & bottom borders in this design! I like the center motifs as well, but I lo-o-ove the borders!
Miniature Quaker Sampler - I love the preciseness of this sampler ~ and that, of course, is a hallmark of Quaker samplers. I'm trying to decide if the critters in the front yard are dogs, cats, goats or pigs. What do you think?

Minerva - Oh my goodness! A witchy mermaid! Those sailors better watch out where they go trick or treating!

The Tea Keeper - I think she's in hot water (sorry, couldn't resist).
Pretty as a Peacock - I think this peacock came is quite obviously a Pittsburgh sports fan ~ all that black & yellow points that way!

Halloween Greetings - TOO FUN!! This is so clever & fun! And this is the only bat I'm letting INSIDE my house!

Jeannette has the most creative design sense! I am working on no less than 3 of her pieces right now! These 3 designs are gorgeous autumn stitching!

Wool Pincushion & Fob - I love the way she finished this in a Lone Elm Shaker pincushion base. But even more, look at the delicate little fob ~ it's so pretty!
Fall Shaker Box - This has a bit of a folk art look, design-wise. And I love that she used the chenille to finish the edges.

Hallowe'en Sampler - You know what's cool about this? Aside from all the totally fun motifs, that is. It's balanced. Yes, I know, I have issues... I also like all the different patterns ~ in the pumpkins, on the cauldron, the spiderweb & the moon, the gravestone & the house & the trail of candy corn! I love them all!

Tina & Teri always delight us with their unique flair! They always have something fun, challenging, pretty or all of the above! However, the stocking is not yet ready ~ so hang on a little longer!

Boo to Ewe - This has become one of the most highly anticipated designs each year! And this one is just as cute as can be. You can get the complete kit (chart, fabric, fibers, button, trim) for a VERY LIMITED TIME, or you can buy the button, & get the chart free, then just buy the things you still need (maybe you already HAVE more floss than God...). So for the kit, click on the picture on the left, for the button & chart only, click the picture on the right.

Pumpkin Tag - This kit makes this cute little tag to attach to your favorite "brew" or treat bag! Spooooooky!
Halloween Sheep Tag - I love this little lambie in her witchie hat!

Gather Joy Pincushion - This little pillow is so sweet ~ a cute companion to the "Thankful Be", with some of the fun motifs from that sampler ~ this will be perfect for putting in a bowl full of autumn sweets!
Thankful Be - I love the colors in this darling sampler! I'm particularly drawn to .... wait for it .... the pumpkin leaves!! I think I need help...

Spooky Notes - Oh my gosh, too fun! I love the ghosts!
Little Black House Tin - The latest in this fun series, I love the little sheep in her striped hat!

Hand-dyed Ribbon - Another batch of their wonderful silk ribbon! These come in assorted colors (ie, we don't get to choose the colors), so unless there's a color you absolutely HATE, let us pick a beauty for you.
Scissor Fob - Another perennial favorite from the gals, this group looks to have lots of halloween fun! Again, we can't order by image, so we'll pick out something fun for you ~ there are no duds in these!!

Theresa & Brian create bold, fun designs that are so clever & bright!
Autumn Greetings - love the autumn colors in this one! AND the blue to represent the sky (before it deteriorates into dreary grey winter sky....).
Ghostly Boo - I love the spooky cross-eyed ghosts!!! The spiders, I'm not a fan of...
Our Town Halloween - Bwahahaha... Now, normally living next to a graveyard may be not so enticing ~ unless you enjoy peace and quiet!!!! Or maybe not so quiet on Halloween...

Halloween Moon pillow - The purple pompoms finish this off perfectly!!
Scary Wind - How clever is this? I love the verse & the finishing is fun too! Easy to fold up & put away when you're ready for Christmas!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these designs! The bright colors & Nordic designs are such fun to see & stitch! It's ALMOST enough to make ya look forward to winter!! Almost... nah, instead I'll just stitch it & that'll be enough winter for me!

North Pole - This is my favorite of these designs! I love the sweater & the stocking!

25 Decembre - This is so pretty...but you know where my eye goes? Right to the food!!! I love the Scandinavian hearts in this one.
Pacchi Regalo e Rami Pin0 (Gift Packs and Pine Branches) - What a fun Christmas morning! I love all the presents!

Boules di Natale - I know I had this one up before, but this is a better photo, so I wanted to post it again! The faces on these are adorable (although I think Santa Lucia needs some sun...just sayin').

Stithing Pretty is actually a wonderful collection of talented designers, each with their own style & flair!
Fianna's Showtowel - from Samplers Revisited. Love this gorgeous spot motif sampler. Lots of times spot samplers are just that ~ lots of motifs just scattered across the piece. Remember, they were done as practice by young girls, not necessarily for display. This one was obviously planned out & very nicely balanced.

Margaret Boden Sampler - from Smokey Mountain Stitches. I love the colors in this sampler, as well as the details in the bands. The bands would have been practiced in order to stitch a bit of decoration around a cuff or collar.
Joanna Brimblecombe - from Smokey Mountain Stitches. I love the central tree on this one!! Isn't that cool?

Flip Flops - from White Lyon. Truer words, my friends, truer words....
Always Kiss Me - from Michelle Ink. I love the bright colors in this design! When I stitch mine though, I'm gonna put in little letters, around the base of the heart, "after you brush your teeth".

Best Escape - from White Lyon. IS SHE READING MY MIND????
Happy Red Crab - from Samplers Revisited. Boy that's a big crab if it ate a whale...

Christmas Jumble - from White Lyon. Clever, creative, fun & merry!!

Amy's whimsical designs just make my heart sing!!

The Early Bird - YESSSSS!!! This is ME! Worms are GROSS!!! So I'll just sleep in, thankyouverymuch!!
ADULTish - Me AGAIN! Here's the other one I'm gonna do: Sorry. Not sorry.
Boo Kitty - Too cute!! Love her little whiskers pokin' out from her costume!

Black Cat - OMG! Love her mask! And what's with the fish on her head? I don't know, but it makes me smile! This one would be Charlee if the ears were floppy.
Witch Cat - Are these stripes slimming? No? Hmmm, maybe it's the candy...

Witch Hat Wine Bottle cover - Oh my gosh! I love this!!! And no one will suspect that you're hiding a bottle of wine underneath!!!

Val's designs are nothing but fun! There are almost always cute critters and the colors are happy happy!

Triple Treat - What a cute trio! This is a kit that comes with everything you need except floss (since we all have SO MUCH FLOSS!). The only decision is which to stitch first....

Cheryl's attention to detail keeps you looking & looking again! You always see something new each time.

Thanks Giving - Oh my goodness ~ I think these guys are heading out!

Boughs ala Round - THIS is one of my FAVORITES!! I love this! Love the trees, love the angels, love the ornaments....LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Louise always has wonderful designs ~ some are cute & fun to stitch, and some are lovely gorgeous samplers...that are also fun to stitch!!!

Ashes to Ashes ~ Limited Release kit - This is hilarious!!!! It's finished as a little standup & I love this!!! At first glance it looks like a mourning piece...and then you read it!
Fantastic Terrors - a quote from Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven", this is perfect for Halloween.

Nancy's creations aren't just cute ~ her finishing is above & beyond! Just makes you smile!
All Things Halloween - How cute is this? The chart includes the little framed charm that hangs next to "ghost". Just enough stitching for Halloween.

Petite to Grande Cornucopia - I'm liking this new series! You can stitch it small (on the right, on 40ct linen) or stitch it 14ct to make it big!
Petite to Grande Pumpkin - I think I like this one done BIG!

Pumpkin Patch Guardian - this cute little kit includes the spool, the topper, the linen & floss.
Witch Switch Boo-tiful Box - This kit includes the chart, fabric, floss, topper & unpainted box!

Eweltide Greetings - I love the texture on this sheep ~ what do you think: french knots or beads??
Down Gingerbread Lane - Yum! That looks like a tasty lane!

Santa Hat Scissor Tag - Perfect for "decorating" your scissors for Christmas!
This Way to the North Pole - this cute little kit inlcudes the chart, fabric, floss, spool & topper!

Two Ghosts and a Spider - Okay! This is a cute halloween pattern, but what I love are the various patterned borders around the design! That really makes this piece stand out for me.

Bees and Trees - This looks like a miniature knot garden...or maybe a game of chinese checkers....(or maybe I need more sleep....).

Oh my gosh, I love these gals! They are truly, awesomely fun & you can tell it just thru the NAMES of their designs! If you haven't tried one of their beaded creations, you really should ~ it looks very intimidating, but once you get into the rhythm it's really cool!

Bee Home Soon fob - a darling bee, and I LOVE the colors!
Carol's Snowflake fob - this is the only place I wanna see a snowflake!
All Aboard fob - for all the train lovers out there!

Susie Q fob - Ack! Another Pittsburgh fan! No? Oh, no, it's bees!!!
Susie Q sewing set - Love this little sewing set ~ it has a bit of a primitive stitch feel to it.

Sharon's designs always have exquisite detail & wonderful finishing ideas! We're always inspired by what she creates.

Christmas Sampler - You know what's great about this? If you wanted, you could change the colors & make it not Christmas~y!

Santa Santa - This is a great example of Sharon's creativity. 2 Santas, very similar in design, but totally different in finishing! The chartpak includes both charts.

Meghan's Keep - Wow! This kit is amazing! Start with
the yellow ribbon trimmed bag at the top with it’s little yoyo and paisley fabric. In the bag
you have room for your semicircular floss holder that has your initials in the center. The small pieces
include a round pin keep, a rectangular needle board, and a scissor fob. Your pieces are trimmed with
the yellow ribbon. All the linen as well as backing fabrics, boards, floss, and buttons are included. A definite heirloom.
And it's not JUST designs! There are fun new accessories that we all NEED!!

Lois has expanded her line to now include some lucious cotton velveteen! Perfect for backing some of your smalls!

Velveteen - Each piece is 10" x 18". Which colors do you need first??

Barbara always finds the most wonderful fabrics for her project bags! These are some of our favorite project bags ~ we love the mesh base that she uses in addition to the beautiful fabrics.
Spooky Hallowe'en - I like that this fabric isn't screamy meamy halloween ~ a little bit Art Nouveau!

Give Thanks - The perfect project bag for carrying your harvest stitching!
Squirrels - (or chipmunks) What a cute fabric! So fun for Fall.
Festive Season - Isn't this elegant? You won't have to put your stitching "away" when you have company.
Poinsettias - Gorgeous...and not poisonous to your pets (the only way I'm having poinsettias in the house...).

Christmas Bells - love these holiday colors!
Up on the Rooftop - This just brings a smile to your face!!

Must Love Dogs - You better believe it! I see a few of my pups in this crowd.
Cat's Meow - Aaaaaawwww, they're so cute!

Diane creates some of the most detailed metalwork goodies! She began with a thread separator & now has more than 10 different styles of needle necessities!

Mini Minder: Pumpkin - these mini minders are just tiny versions of their larger siblings! You'll want this mini pumpkin spice minder!
Mini Minder: Star - I like the swirl effect on the star itself, in addition to the heart with another star inside!
Mini Minder: Acorn - This might be my favorite of this collection ~ love the swirl patterns.

Needle Nanny: Tulip - I need this ~ it's the promise of spring that'll get me thru winter!! I know, I know.

Needle Nanny: Halloween House - Love this autumn cabin!
Needle Nanny: Deco Pumpkin - What do I love about this? The play of the different metals & designs.

Needle Nanny: Ornament - Pretty enough to hang on the tree! But instead you might want to gift it to a stitching friend.
Needle Nanny: Winter Bird - LOVE this little birdie's hat!

These threaders are a cute way to thread those needles ~ have you noticed that the eyes are getting smaller every year?? These threaders are also magnetic, so you can rest it on your needle nanny or your magnet board. Also, you can get these threaders in either the long eye (one the acorn & star) or a micro threader (for those beading needles & size 28's) ~ seen on the pumpkin.

These gals continue to delight us with their primitive pieces that are great for your stitching basket or for finishing!

Halloween Hornbooks - these spooky hornbooks are a fun way to finish a Halloween project! From left to right: Dangling Webs, Raven on the Moon, & Cats & Bats.

Primitive Threadkeep: Witch's Boot - You'd be a witch too, if the toes of your boots curled up like that!
Primitive Threadkeep: Black Cat - Don't let your pup find this ~ she'll be chewing up the kitty in no time!
Primitive Threadkeep: Witch's Hat - Maybe this witch's hat has magical powers ~ and can sort your floss from your kit for you!

LaDonna, in addition to designing & reproducing gorgeous samplers, has begun creating gorgeous threadkeeps, scissor fobs, necklaces & needlekeeps. Every design is available in any iteration, so you just have to let us know what you'd like!

Sewing Aids: Clark's Spool - Love these antique advertisements!

As Bugs Bunny says, "That's all, folks"! So many great things to stitch ~ which will you start with?? I have a "regular" newsletter under way as well, so stay tuned. With this Market, the earlier you order, the better. Molly & I will begin putting our orders in first thing Monday morning. There's no time limit, but as you know, the first order always gets in our hands the quickest!
We pray that all of our stitching family members in Florida particularly, but also Georgia & South Carolina are moved inland & hunkered down safely. Take special care of your pets ~ they have no idea what's going on.
